Wouldn’t it be great to have someone coordinate all this for you? Wouldn’t it be great to have someone who is reliable, and responsible to “you” the owner?
From construction work to keeping an eye on your home to taking deliveries and meeting service people, HOMEOWNER SUPPORT SERVICES wants to be the company you call when you need help with your home projects. Think of us as your central depot of home support services.
In a career spanning 35 years and a multitude of experiences in related fields: builder, remodeling, design, artist, real estate investor, and landlord the one constant I have learned from dealing with homeowners is how disappointing and stressful dealing with trades’ people can be. The time wasted in waiting, work done poorly, cost overruns and anxiety are to big a price to pay for someone who, “works for you”. I have developed a reputation for fair dealing both as a contractor and working with contractors. And I pride myself in my results driven attitude towards your job completion and satisfaction.
What should have been a workable partnership between Owner and service persons, i.e. construction, delivery, installers, etc, becomes an adversarial one. One only has to look at the volume of court cases between owner and contractor to know there was a breakdown in trust and communication. It’s not surprising. Homeowners as a rule have neiher the experience, temperament nor time to deal with these kinds of issues. We can ask the questions for you.
Let me not forget our out of town people, the absentee owner or landlord who contracts work here in South Florida. Do you remember when friends said to you, “good luck” when told you could do this from out of state? While I cannot promise you the moon, I can promise to take the luck out of the equation and put the odds of success squarely on your side, "THE OWNERS”, where it should be. Let us represent your interests.
How about if we throw in regular updated progress reports? How about a reliable pre screened list of contractors or service people that we have or you may request? How about if we screen the people we send into your home? How about we only get paid from you? We will not take a fee from anyone else other than a process fee to list a qualified service provider.
